Cauliflower Steaks


  • 1 large cauliflower
  • sea salt, pepper
  • grape seed oil
  • 3 – 4 tomatoes
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 leek


Separate the cauliflower from the roots and outer leaves, and use a sharp knife to cut the head into steaks, making sure they don’t fall apart. Spice steaks with salt and pepper from both sides. Heat the oil in a frying pan, arrange “steaks” and fry them 3 – 4 minutes from one side, then turn them carefully to fry from other side. Separately prepare salsa: blanch tomatoes, then peel them and finely chop, add chopped onion, leek and garlic. Srpinkle with little oil and serve with prepared cauliflower steaks.
