Kamut Bread

Kamut Bread

  • 1 cup kamut flour
  • 1 cup spelt flour
  • 1 cup rye flour
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • sesame and sunflower per taste
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon pork fat

Mix all dry ingredients. Heat the water in which you will melt pork fat. Then add that water with melted pork fat in dry ingredients and knead the dough. It will be soft, just roll it a bit with wet hands on floured working surface. Form one or two loafs, put on baking paper, put few seeds of pumpkin (pepita) and place in preheated oven on 220 degrees. Bake about 25 minutes. When baked wrap into dry cloth and leave to cool.

Instead of ordinary water you can use mineral water, it’ll be better.
