Muffins With Olives


  • 1 egg
  • 5 full tablespoons rye flour
  • 5 full tablespoons buckwheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/3 teaspoon dried basil
  • 5 to 6 olives
  • 1 tablespoon sesame
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 dl mineral water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


First whisk the egg in a bowl. Add mineral water, salt and baking powder. Mix all well, then continue stirring with the spoon. Add flours, stir, then add chopped olives and olive oil. Stir well. Grease molds for muffins with butter or pork fat, or use silicone molds. From this amount you’ll get 6 muffins. Put the baking tray with muffins into preheated oven and bake about 20 minutes on 220 degrees. Use toothpick to check is it baked.
