Beet Hummus


  • 2 small beets
  • 400 g chickpeas
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • sea salt, pepper


Cook chickpeas (or use already cooked), or you can soak them in the evening and leave overnight. Cook beets in water or bake them in the oven. Place all ingredients in a food processor (or blender) and pulse until smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
