• 200 g black olives
  • 2 anchovies
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon caper
  • pinch of basil


Tapenade is actually olive paste. Black olives are originally used, although you can make tapenade with green or a mixture of olives. They are a basic ingredient. Put all ingredients into blender of food processor (of course remove seeds from the olives) and mix until you get nice paste. If you don’t like something like garlic or anchovies, just skip them.
