Roasted Red Pepper Moussaka


  • 1 kg red peppers
  • 300 g minced beef or pork
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup of mineral water
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • chopped parsley
  • paprika


On a little allowed oil fry chopped onion occasionally adding water until translucent, add meat, spices and chopped garlic. Remove from the heat. Put some salt on peppers you previously baked and peeled and arrange them in a greased baking dish. Then put one layer of meat, again one layer of peppers, one layer of meat and finish with peppers. Whip the egg whites with fork, add mineral water and salt and pour over the moussaka. Bake in preheated oven on 220 degrees about half an hour. Serve with salad per your taste.
