Sweet Rye & Barley Buns

Ingredients

  • 150 g rye flour
  • 50 g barley flour
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 200 ml water
  • little less than 1/2 teaspoon psyllium
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 baking powder

Preparation

Mix the flour and water. Add psyllium, salt, olive oil and knead all. Leave for 15 minutes to allow psyllium to do its job. Then take the dough with wet hands and form buns. Arrange on a baking tray covered with baking paper and place in preheated oven on 220 degrees and bake about 15 minutes. The smaller they are, the less time they will need. Check with a toothpick to see if they are done.
