Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 300 g spelt flour
  • 1/2 baking powder
  • pinch of baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 180 ml lukewarm water

Preparation

Mix all dry ingredients, then add oil and water, knead the dough, form it and leave to rest for half an hour. Then divide it into two, three parts and stretch it. It should be oblong, not round. Place filling per your choice on the middle of each pizza, but leave unfilled from both sides, so you can cut stripes. Then cut stripes all to the filling, and pull them towards the middle. If you are skillful you can knit a braid. Coat with egg yolk if you’re in non-restriction or just with egg white if you’re in restriction. Bake in preheated oven on 220 degrees about 20 minutes.
