Aromatic Buckwheat Pastry


  • 3 cups buckwheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons psyllium flakes
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 4 tablespoons dried onion
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 cups lukewarm water
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 baking powder


Knead the dough from listed ingredients, except baking powder, leave it for later – just before baking. First mix all dry ingredients, then add oil and water and knead the dough. Leave it to rest for at least 4 hours or overnight. In the morning, before baking add baking powder and knead again. Heat the oven on 220 degrees. Place the dough on baking paper, and form buns with wet hands. Put in preheated oven and bake about half an hour. Use toothpick to check is it baked.
