Pie With Roasted Red Peppers


  • 100 g buckwheat flour
  • 50 g rye flour
  • 1,5 cup (cup of 180 ml) mineral water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 baking powder
  • 3 roasted red peppers
  • leek or spring onion
  • 150 g cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (if cheese salty take care of this)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Mix all dry ingredients. Whisk the eggs, mix with mineral water and oil and add to dry ingredients. Chop the roasted red peppers into blender or food processor, add cheese and leek or spring onion and mix all together. Grease baking dish and sprinkle with flour or cover it with baking paper, pour a mixture that will be rare and such should be. You can sprinkle the surface of the pie with seeds per your wish or with cubes of some smoked bacon, just to smell… if you like… Place baking dish in preheated oven on 220 degrees and bake about 30 minutes, but of course it depends on your ovens and in the meantime check.
