American Pancakes Cake

Ingredients

For the pancakes:

  • 1 cup of flour (mix of rye, spelt, buckwheat, oat and barley)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup of mineral water
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

For the filling:

  • roasted red peppers sauce or homemade tomato sauce
  • 3 eggs

Preparation

Whisk the egg, add flour and baking powder and then add mineral water. At the end add pinch of salt and one tablespoon melted butter. Fry American pancakes using pancakes mold or just pouring mixture on a heated and greased pan. You’ll get some 5 to 6 pancakes. Then fry 3 eggs. Coat each pancake with roasted red pepper sauce and arrange eggs to get cake. You’ll get three layers with eggs. Your cake is ready. Use other 2 or 3 pancakes to make the cake per your wish. Make sure you don’t use dairy products if you are in restriction phase due to combination of eggs and dairy products.
