Pancakes With Bran


  • 1 egg
  • little mineral water (less than 1 dl)
  • 3 tablespoons bran
  • 2 tablespoon buckwheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon crumbled cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Whisk one egg, add mineral water and stir well. Then add bran and flour and cheese and stir well again. You’ll get thick sticky mixture. Add baking powder, salt and olive oil. Stir well all, use ladle to pour into heated pan for pancakes and bake for one minute each side. You’ll get harder pancakes than usually, but very tasty. Combine them with some ham, olives, tomato sauce…

If you are at the beginning of a chrono diet skip the cheese. In combination with eggs, it is a complicated dish and should be avoided at the outset.
