Bread With Spices


  • 500 g integral spelt flour
  • 500 g soft spelt flour
  • 4 dl olive oil
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 handful chopped chive
  • 1 handful chopped spring onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tablespoon chopped dill
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 baking powders
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda


First mix flours, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Then add spices and mix well all, and then add oil and water and knead the dough. Pour mixture in a baking dish covered with baking paper or greased with oil and floured, align and put in preheated oven. Bake for an hour and a half on 200 degrees.

You can halve the quantities if you don’t have a large family to share this bread with you.
