- 2 medium zucchini
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of mineral water
- 250 g crumbled cheese
- 125 g buckwheat flour
- 1/2 baking powder
- sea salt depending on the salinity of the cheese
You can also add other spices per your taste, such as garlic powder, onion powder, ginger powder… First peel zucchini and grate them. Leave little to release the water, then drain them. Whisk one egg in a bowl with mineral water, add crumbled cheese, flour, baking powder and eventually spices. Add zucchini and stir. The mixture should be denser than for pancakes, but much tighter than for chrono bread. If you miss the liquid, add more mineral water, and if it is too liquid, add some more flour. Heat the allowed oil for frying in ceramic pan or pan for pancakes. Fry burgers from both sides until get nice golden brown color. You can consume them for breakfast with some hummus or salad, or if you like a bit stronger breakfast combine them with bacon and onion. Don’t combine them with dairy products since burgers already contain it.
If you’re in restriction phase, note that this is a complex dish, because it combines eggs with cheese, so don’t consume often.
