Eggs In Mushrooms


Per one person:

  • 2 large mushrooms
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 slices of chrono bread
  • olive oil
  • 1/3 red onion
  • sea salt, pepper
  • fresh wild garlic


Try to buy as large mushrooms as possible. Clean them with a cloth, don’t wash them. The mushrooms are already full of water and do not need any further immersion. If some part is dirty or truncated, take it off with a knife. Remove the stems, and place the caps in the baking dish. Put eggs in each cap. If the egg whites pour little over them, it does not matter. Carefully place the baking dish into the oven and bake 10 to 15 minutes on 210 degrees. When the eggs are baked, remove from the oven, spice with salt and pepper and sprinkle with chopped wild garlic. Since we don’t like to throw food, use stems from the mushrooms. Finely chop them, as well as red onion and fry on olive oil and little water. Cut chrono bread into slices and put fried stems on each. Spice it also with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
