Chicken With Red Onion And Mustard


  • 500 g chicken fillet
  • 2 medium red onions
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • spices: sea salt, colorful pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 dl white wine


Cut the meat into thin steaks or ask your butcher to do that. Gently beat them with meat mallet. Cut red onion into thin wedges and fry on mixture of olive oil and butter on low temperature while occasionally add water. Let it melt. At the end add white wine and spices. When the onion is almost melted put the meat over it, salt it a bit and coat with mustard. When the bottom side get white color, turn the meat and coat that side with mustard and continue cooking.
