Sausage And Leek Stuffed Baskets


For the baskets:

  • 200 g flour (spelt and rye) + little more
  • pinch or two of sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 120 ml lukewarm water
  • 1/2 baking powder

For the filling:

  • 2 smaller and thin leek
  • 100 g sausages
  • 2 eggs
  • spices per wish
  • little oil for frying


Mix flours, salt and baking powder. Add oil and water and mix all using spoon. Cover and leave on warm place to ferment. In a meantime prepare filling. Chop leek and sausage and fry little on oil and little water. When soften, leave to cool. Then add eggs and spices per your wish. Take the dough for the baskets and stretch it on floured working surface. Form the circles from the dough with some glass and put in the mold to make baskets (flat mold for muffins or similar…). Stuff the baskets with prepared filling and put in preheated oven. Bake 10 to 15 minutes on 220 degrees.
