Salad With Cooked Trout


  • 1 or few trout depending on the number of people
  • red onion
  • fresh thyme
  • pepper in the grain
  • few cloves of garlic
  • fresh basil and olive oil sauce
  • lettuce (more types)
  • pinch of sea salt


Pour water into pot, add coarsely cut red onion, bay leaves and pepper in the grain. Wash trout and also add into pot. When the trout is cooked remove from the pot, leave to cool bit, and clean from the skin and bones. Chop the fish meat with your fingers. Put in the bowl chopped lettuce, fish over the salad and use pesto as a dressing. At the end sprinkle with colorful pepper.
