Crispy Tortillas


  • 100 g spelt flour
  • 1 dl lukewarm water
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1,5 tablespoon olive oil
  • pinch of sea salt


Heat the oven. Mix in a bowl flour, salt and baking powder. Add oil and water and knead the dough using tablespoon. Put some flour on a working surface and transfer the dough on it. Knead it more, then form two balls and stretch them using rolling pin. Put baking paper on a baking tray and place tortillas on it. Put in the oven, closer to the upper heater, but not too close. Bake until get nice golden color and crispy. If you’re in restriction you can eat them with hummus, it’s great combination.
