Sticks With Pepita

Sticks With Pepita

  • 100 g integral spelt flour
  • 2 tablespoons of pepita (pumpkin seeds)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 dl (or little less) lukewarm water
  • pinch of sea salt
  • coarse sea salt for sprinkling
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1,5 teaspoon psyllium

Grind pepita, not too finely, but to remain larger parts. Mix flour, baking powder, little sea salt, psyllium and pepita. Melt butter and add to flour, then add lukewarm water and knead the dough. Divide balls and then shape them into sticks. Let them be small and fat, because the dough is not very ideal for stretching. Arrange them on a baking paper you put on a baking tray. Grease little with olive oil and sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees about 15 minutes. Combine with melted cheese (choose the type depending on the phase of diet).
