Fasting Rolls With Olives


  • 3 tablespoons spelt flour + more for working surface
  • 3 tablespoons barley flour
  • 3 tablespoons oat flour
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 dl mineral water
  • 10 olives or more


First mix dry ingredients, then add oil, water and chopped olives. Knead the soft dough, stretch into disc and divide into 8 parts. Weight of the roll is about 40 to 60 grams. You can make larger or smaller, as you wish. Arrange them on baking paper. Grease them with olive oil and put in the oven. Bake on 200 degrees about 20 to 25 minutes. When baked, wrap them into dry dishcloth and wait to cool.
