Hummus With Pepita

Hummus With Pepita

  • 100 g cooked chickpeas
  • handful pepita (pumpkin seeds)
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • juice of half lemon
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • little water

Leave few pumpkin seeds or pepita for sprinkling and the rest soak in water overnight. If you’re buying raw chickpeas you can also soak them overnight and to cook in the morning about one hour. But you can buy cooked chickpeas. Then, in the morning put all ingredients into blender, except water and mix well to get paste. But to get sily paste at the end add little cold water constantly mixing in a blender. If you don’t have blender you can make hummus using hand mixer. At the end try and add some spices per your wish, then transfer to a bowl, sprinkle with pepita and enjoy.
