Spicy Stew


  • 400 g beef meat
  • 1 – 2 red onions
  • 3 dl tomato sauce without added sugar
  • spices: sea salt, pepper, chili, garlic in powder
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 – 2 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic (optional)


Cut the meat (chuck, round) into cubes, roll in spices and leave to rest one or two hours. Chop the onion into ribs and fry little on a butter, remove it to the one part of the frying pan and on the free part of the pan fry meat little just to make brown crust on all sides. Pour balsamic over the meat and onion. If you’re in restriction forget about this step, since balsamic is forbidden. Add tomato sauce and little water, reduce temperature and let cook until meat soften and get sauce of desired density. Serve with broccoli or cauliflower puree.
