Juicy Meatballs In Tomato Sauce

Ingredients and Preparation

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 60 g leek
  • 1 egg white
  • pinch or two of baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • spices: sea or Himalayan salt, colorful pepper, paprika, cumin, coriander
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Finely chop the leek and add to the meat. Then add spices and baking soda and knead with your hands. Add tomato sauce, egg white and olive oil and knead again well. Leave to rest little and then form meatballs. Heat in a frying pan mix of butter and olive pomace oil and fry meatballs from all sides.

For sauce:

  • 1 large pepper
  • 10 to 15 cherry tomatoes
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 2 – 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoons oregano

Wash tomatoes and pepper and finely chop them or mix into blender or food processor. Cut the garlic into thin slices. Mildly heat the oil and add garlic. As soon as it smells add tomato and pepper sauce. Then add tomato sauce, salt and oregano. Cook all little on moderate temperature.
