- 400 g minced meat (beef or pork)
- 3 – 4 roasted red peppers
- 2 tablespoons sour cream (for those in restriction 2 egg whites)
- 1/2 cup mineral water
- 1 red onion
- olive oil
- sea salt, pepper, turmeric, crushed hot peppers
On a little mildly heated oil fry chopped red onion. When softened add meat and little bit water and cook until half done. Add spices, stir and remove from the heat. Cut roasted red peppers into strips. Put on the bottom of the baking dish little olive oil and arrange in layers: peppers, meat and so on until spent all meat. Finish with the peppers. Mix sour cream and mineral water and pour over moussaka and sprinkle with chopped chives. Bake some 30 minutes on 200 degrees (until the excess water evaporates).
