Snails With Meat


  • 1 sheet of buckwheat phillo
  • 180 g minced beef meat
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • spices: sea salt, pepper, chili
  • 1 dl water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon pork fat


Chop the onion and fry it a bit on little pork fat. When become soft and translucent add meat and spices and fry until meat become brown. Cut the sheet of phillo lengthwise and coat both part with sour cream. Arrange meat over the sour cram and roll up by length. Then grease with olive oil and roll up into snails. Before baking put some sour cream on a top and bake until get nice golden brown color.
