Crackers With Cracklings


  • 200 g rye flour
  • 70 g barley flour
  • 2 tablespoon pork fat
  • 100 g cracklings
  • 1/3 baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • about 150 ml water
  • sea salt


First grind cracklings into chopper or blender. Mix in a bowl rye and barley flour. Add pork fat and mix well with flours. Add cracklings, paprika, baking powder and salt per taste. Then add water and knead the dough. It should be a little harder and not sticky. Stretch the dough on a floured surface and make shapes per your wish with molds. Bake until get nice golden brown color.
