Bread With Bacon And Cheese


  • 300 g spelt flour
  • 300 g rye flour
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 baking powder
  • 120 g bacon
  • 120 g Gouda or mozzarella cheese
  • 250 ml water
  • 2 cups of sour milk
  • 1 teaspoon caraway


Cut the bacon and cheese into cubes. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Use tablespoon to transfer mixture into baking dish. Then form loaf with wet hands and sprinkle with sesame, flax and sunflower seeds. Put in preheated oven on 200 degrees and after ten minutes reduce temperature to 180 degrees. Bake for some 30 minutes, depending on the oven.
