Strawberry Jam

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg strawberries
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 vanilla stick
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 4 – 5 basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon date paste (or 2 – 3 royal dates without seeds and skin)

Preparation

Put all ingredients into sauce pan and cook together on low temperature. Then chop all in a blender and put back on the heat too cook more. Cook until get nice compact jam. You can keep this tasty jam in the fridge for 7 days (if you do not eat all before).
