Pesto Genovese


  • 2 handfuls basil
  • 1 handful pine nuts
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 handful Parmesan
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • salt per taste


This is the original recipe, and most famous. If you like, you can omit cheese and replace pine nuts with almonds if you want a wider chrono use. Put all ingredients into blender and mix to get nice compact pesto.
