Small Bread With Caraway


  • 110 g rye flour
  • 60 g barley flour
  • 1/2 baking powder
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 150 ml water
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil + some for coating
  • 2 – 3 pinch of caraway and coarse sea salt for sprinkling


First turn the oven on 210 degrees. Mix in a bowl flours, sea salt and baking powder. Add oil and water and knead the dough with tablespoon. Put baking paper into baking dish, pour mixture on it and form disc with wet hands. Not too thin. Grease with olive oil, sprinkle with caraway and coarse sea salt and gently press. Put in the oven and bake for some 40 minutes. Use toothpick to check is it baked. Wrap the bread into dry clean dishcloth and leave to cool.
