Plum And Walnut Cream


  • 20 small or 12 – 15 larger plums
  • 70 g walnut
  • 1 teaspoon organic cocoa powder
  • 3 – 5 grains of cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (or more per taste)


Clean plums and so halved arrange on a baking tray with walnuts. Bake on 200 degrees until well softened about 20 minutes or more, depending on the oven. Leave to cool a bit, then chop walnuts into blender with grains of cloves. Don’t grind them completely, let be few coarsely chopped pieces. Put walnuts into bowl and save some for sprinkling. Then mash plums with cocoa and cinnamon, transfer to a bowl with walnuts and stir well. Arrange into three bowls for serving, sprinkle with walnuts and a little cinnamon. Cool in the fridge until serving. If plums were not sweet enough pour honey, maple or agave syrup over them.
