- 1 big hake (one with bones, without a head)
- 1/2 onion
- 3 tablespoons of cooked chickpeas
- few olives
- Spices: sea salt, colorful pepper, oregano ….
You can buy cooked chickpeas in a can. Or you can cook them. Just soak them in the water and leave overnight. Tomorrow cook them with a pinch of baking powder to speed up the process. You’ll need about an hour. You can keep cooked chickpeas in the fridge for few days. The same is with hake. It’s better to prepare more quantity in order to have a reserve. You can bake hake in the oven or to grill it. This first is more easier. Grease hake, spice it per your taste and bake in the oven on 200 degrees.
Cut the onion into wedges and fry on olive oil. Fry on a low temperature with addition of water if needed. When completely softened, add chickpeas and spices and fry together for a while, not long, so that the chickpeas absorbs the flavors. Chop the fish with your fingers and remove the skin as possible as you can. Cut the olive into circles. Add fish and olives in the pan and fry together for two minutes.
