Hummus With Red Onion


  • 100 g cooked chickpeas
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 full teaspoon tahini (sesame paste)
  • pinch of sea salt
  • pinch of cumin
  • juice of 1/4 lemon
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil


First chop onion into thin ribs. Heat olive oil in a pan and add onion. Then little by little, add water. Somewhere at half of cooking, set aside one teaspoon of onion for decoration and cook the rest until almost melted. Put in a bowl cooked chickpeas, add onion, tahini, salt, lemon juice, cumin and a little olive oil. At the end add a little cold water get creamy texture.
