Beef With Lentils

 Ingredients

  • 200 g of beef
  • 1 tablespoon of brown lentils
  • 2 – 3 small onions
  • 1 bigger tomato
  • pepper, salt, bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Preparation

These are measures for one serving. First wash lentils and soak in cold water for a few hours or overnight. Before cooking cut the meat into cubes, onions into quarters, tomato into larger pieces and put all in appropriate pot. Add well washed lentils, pour water, add bay leaves and leave to cook on moderate temperature for about two hours. Before end add salt and pepper and chopped parsley if you want.
