Fresh Cabbage Moussaka


  • 400 g of minced beef
  • 1 fresh cabbage
  • 1 onion
  • 1 leek
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • chili pepper (crumbled or powder)
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 dl mineral water
  • olive oil


Chop the onion and leek and fry on a little oil with addition of water, until become translucent. Add minced meat and spices and continue frying few minutes. In another dish on allowed oil also fry cabbage you previously cut thin as for salad and add salt and pepper. In appropriate baking dish put one layer of cabbage, then over it put the meat with onion, and finish with another layer of cabbage. Whisk the egg whites with mineral water, add chili pepper and pour over moussaka. Bake 30 minutes on 200 degrees.
