- 250 ml water
- 4 tablespoons barley semolina
- 1/2 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 red onion
- salt, colorful pepper
- 1 tablespoon full-fat cream cheese
Put water in a small pot to boil. While the water is heated, in a meantime put in a frying pan butter and oil. Then add red onion you previously cut into ribs and fry until completely soften. When the water start to boil slowly add the flour all the time mixing with a wooden spoon or whisker. Be careful not to make lumps. The amount of flour you spend depends on the amount of water you put in and the density you love. When the polenta is cooked, add fried onion and one tablespoon of full-fat cream cheese and a bit more pepper if you like.
