Turkey In Mustard


  • 1 turkey drumstick
  • 2 red peppers
  • 2 yellow peppers
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (homemade without sugar)
  • 2 teaspoons caper
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • sea salt
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil + 1 teaspoon


Wash turkey meat and dry. Put in a jar mustard, 1 teaspoon olive oil, caper, pinch of salt and lemon juice. Close the jar and shake to mix all well. Coat drumstick with prepared marinade and leave for a few hours in it or overnight. Cut peppers into thick strips, grease with olive oil and put on the bottom of the baking dish. If you have a mixture of mustard and caper mix it in a vegetables. Put drumstick over peppers and cover the dish with aluminium foil. Bake in the oven on 200 degrees. Then remove foil and leave to bake until get nice crust and golden brown color. If your drumstick is too large baking will last longer. When you touch the meat with fork it should easily separate from the bone.
