Mackerel In Spicy Sauce


  • 4 mackerels
  • 1 red onion
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • rosemary
  • parsley

For sauce:

  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 4 red peppers
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed chili pepper
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • spice herbs according to desire


First you should prepare sauce. Bake peppers on a burner or in the oven to soften. When cool a bit, peel the skin and remove the stems and the seeds and cut into cubes. Sink tomatoes into boiling water, peel the skin and cut into cubes. On a little oil fry chopped onion and garlic, add peppers and tomatoes and saute together until the sauce is thickened. Spice with salt, pepper, spice herbs and chili pepper. Grease baking dish and pour sauce in it, then arrange fishes over it. Sprinkle with olive oil, chopped rosemary and parsley. Bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees about 30 minutes.
