• 250 g spelt flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon pork fat
  • app. 100 ml mineral water
  • 2 tablespoons sesame

For filling:

  • 1 small bunch of mangel
  • 180 g tuna from the can
  • 1 small red onion
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • parsley
  • basil
  • cherry tomato for decoration


Mix in a bowl spelt flour, sea salt and baking powder. Add tablespoon of pork fat and mineral water enough to knead dough. If you like add sesame. Cover the dough and leave to rest about ten minutes. Stretch the dough into the rectangle, and cut into larger squares. In a greased molds for muffins place per one square to form baskets. Prepare filling: fry on oil one meshed garlic clove, then add chopped mangel and briefly fry until softened. Drain tuna from the can and mix with chopped red onion, spice with salt and pepper. Add chopped parsley and little lemon juice. In each basket put one tablespoon of mangel and then fill with tuna mixture. Stuffed baskets bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees about 30 minutes. When the edges of the baskets get nice golden color remove from the oven. Decorate with cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
