Village Pot


  • 2 – 3 onions
  • 300 g homemade sausages
  • 500 – 600 g roasted peppers
  • 2 kohlrabi
  • 1/2 cabbage
  • 1 dl of tomato juice
  • sea salt, pepper, bay leaves


Chop the onion, fry it with bay leaves on a little allowed oil or pork fat with addition of water. When onion become translucent add sausages cut into circles, gently stir, add peppers you previously chopped. Then add kohlrabi cut into cubes and sliced cabbage. Pour water to cover all ingredients and cook for 50 minutes. After that add tomato juice and let cook for another 10 minutes. Spice per your taste.
