Stuffed Kohlrabi


  • 2 large kohlrabi
  • 1 onion
  • 150 g cauliflower
  • 150 g mushrooms
  • sea salt
  • pinch of turmeric
  • allowed oil for frying


Peel kohlrabi, cut the upper part at the top, scoop out pulp and cut that pulp into cubes. Then blanch kohlrabi in a salted boiling water to soften. Remove from the water using slotted spoon. Chop the onion, cut mushrooms into slices and grate cauliflower on large. On a little oil fry onion and pulp you cut into cubes, add a pinch of turmeric and spice per your taste. Add grated cauliflower and cook all while pouring a little water until vegetables softened. At the end of cooking add mushrooms and continue cooking until the excess liquid does not evaporate. Stuff kohlrabi with prepared filling, put them into greased baking dish and around them arrange the rest of the filling. Bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees until get nice golden color.
