Stuffed Cabbage


  • 1 large cabbage
  • 400 g minced meat
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/3 leek
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • allowed oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili peppers
  • 2 bay leaves
  • parsley


Carefully remove the central part of the cabbage, remove the root, and then cut the rest into the cubes. On a little oil fry chopped onion and leek. Add minced meat and finely cook. At the end add chopped middle of the cabbage and cook until vegetable soften. Spice with salt and pepper and sprinkle with chopped parsley. With prepared filling stuff scooped out cabbage. Cove the hole with cabbage leaf and transfer cabbage into deep pot. Pour water to cover cabbage, add a bit of salt, pepper in grain and bay leaf. Cook for half an hour until cabbage soften. Then transfer cabbage into baking dish with stuffed side down. In another dish heat a little oil, add paprika and quick stir and pour over cabbage. Pour a little water from cooking and put in preheated oven on 200 degrees to bake fine.
