Mushroom Spread


  • 500 g mushrooms (or other fungal species per your taste)
  • 1 bunch of spring onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • lemon juice
  • chopped parsley
  • thyme
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil


Finely chop spring onion and fry on a little allowed oil to become translucent. Wash mushrooms, wipe and cut into thin slices and briefly fry with onion. When mushrooms softened transfer them together with onion into blender or food processor and finely mix. Add salt, pepper, little lemon juice, spice herbs and garlic per your taste. Mix all, pour olive oil to get compact spread. For more delicious taste you can add hot chili peppers. Cover prepared spread with foil and keep in a fridge until use. Serve on toasted chrono bread.
