Chicken and Broccoli Meatballs In Sauce


  • 500 g minced chicken meat
  • 1 onion
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 small broccoli
  • 1 leek
  • 5 dl tomato juice without sugar
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • allowed oil for frying


Chop leek and fry on a little oil to soften. Separate broccoli into florets and cook. Drain off excess water and mash broccoli. Mix in a bowl minced chicken, fried leek and mashed broccoli. Add egg white and spices per your taste and mix well. Form balls from prepared mixture and fry on heated oil on all sides until get golden yellow color. Peel onion and finely chop and mash garlic. Fry together on a little oil while pouring water until soften. Mix in a blender and return to the saucepan. Pour tomato juice, add spices per your taste and a bit of water and cook until boiling. In a prepared sauce add fried chicken balls and briefly cook together.
