Wild Garlic And Barley Pie


  • 4 sheets of buckwheat filo pastry
  • 1 bunch of wild garlic
  • 100 gr cooked barley
  • 2 eggs
  • salt, pepper
  • 4 teaspoon of ajvar (Serbian roasted red pepper sauce) or something similar
  • olive oil
  • sesame


Chop wild garlic, add salt and pepper. Grease the first sheet of filo, place second on it, cover with ajvar or other similar sauce, and add cooked barley (or the residue from your breakfast), then add wild garlic. Roll out and cut into 3 cm pieces. Put them right up in the greased baking dish, pour whisked eggs on them, sprinkle with sesame and bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden yellow.
