Turkey Burgers With Broccoli

  • 500 g of turkey breast mince
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 small broccoli
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • allowed oil

Buy minced turkey breast or grind the meat in a food processor to be sure that your meat is 100% turkey breast. Chop the onion and garlic. In a bowl mix the minced meat, onion, garlic, baking soda, one egg white and spices to taste. Manually mix to get a compact mixture. Cover it with plastic foil and put in the fridge to rest.
Grease your hands and form meatbolls in size of small peach. Place baking sheet and grease it a bit. Make small burgers from the meatbolls and arrange them on a sheet. Use some small form to take out the middle of the burgers. Bake in heated oven until yellow. While the meat is baked cook brocolli in a salt water and squeez out the excess fluid.
Before the end of cooking, remove the burger from the oven, and then put in the middle of each flower or two of blanched broccoli. Fill the area around the broccoli with the remaining egg whites and then return to the oven until egg whites baked.
