Yorkshire Donuts


  • 3 eggs
  • 2 dl of mineral water mixed with 2 tablespoons of cream or sour cream
  • 200 grams of flour (preferably soft spelt)
  • salt


Turn on the oven at the highest temperature. When heated, put in oven silicone molds for muffins or other small mold for baking pudding in which you poured a spoon of oil (or butter). Put them in the oven to warm up (should smokes a little, but not to burn oil) approximately how much you need to mix the dough. Whip the eggs, add mineral water and cream (sour cream) and flour. Salt and stir. Pour in a molds, but not to the top and return to the oven as soon as possible. Bake for 5 minutes on the highest temperature. Remove donuts from the molds immediately (taking care not to burn your fingers), otherwise they will be soggy. Inside, Yorkshire donuts should be hollow.
