Cabbage With Beef

Light Lunch For Two Days


  • 500 g of beef
  • 1 kg of fresh cabbage
  • 3 onions
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of pork fat or 0,1 dl of olive oil
  • 5 grain of pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 2 dl of tomato juice or tomato puree


In a suitable pot on a heated fat put chopped onions for stewing and meat cut into cubes (10 cm x 10 cm). When the meat is tender, add cabbage cut into large pieces, then  pour water so that it covers meat and cabbage. Ten minutes later, add tablespoon of paprika, grain of pepper, and tomatoes (may be fresh, milled or boiled). Add salt to taste, cover and cook over low heat for about half an hour. At the end of cooking add 2 dl of tomato juice or tomato puree.
